For a more comfortable sleep, consider requesting a lighter sheet under the duvet.

Had a great time with friends at this welcoming inn. We visited the River Tweed for some fishing and enjoyed our evenings in the cozy bar downstairs. The bed was super comfy, and the coffee selection was top-notch. Just a suggestion, a sheet under the duvet would be a nice touch for a comfy sleep.
The room was quite warm, and the duvet felt even hotter, making it hard to sleep. A lighter sheet option would help future guests.

The room was lovely, spacious, and well-furnished, overlooking the main street. light sleepers may struggle with noise from the town clock chiming every hour. The takeaway breakfast left in the fridge was a nice touch but could benefit from more options. Dinner was exceptional, particularly the toast served in the bar, and the staff provided great service throughout the stay.

The Superior King or Twin Room was modern and stylish, with a comfy bed that felt like sleeping on clouds. The decor was cool and everything was super clean. Plus, the little coffee and tea setup was a nice touch. No noise from the pub below, which was great. Just a bit warm in the room, and a lighter duvet would have made it perfect.
